SEVERAL BUSINESS ANNIVERSARIES ACKNOWLEDGED AT CHAMBER BANQUET

The Centralia Chamber of Commerce recognized seven businesses or organizations at Celebrate Progress - Chamber Annual Banquet for their longevity and continued service and investment in the community.

The businesses / organizations recognized were as follows.

Jeff’s Chem Dry - Celebrating 25 Years

Founded by Jeff Keef and continued through son, Justin Keef, Jeff’s Chem Dry is a go-to for residential cleanings both locally and regionally. Jeff’s Chem Dry is also a longtime participating of the Chamber’s home expo and Balloon Fest.

Centralia Coin & Stamp, Inc. - Celebrating 35 Years

Centralia Coin & Stamp, Inc. was founded by the late Dan Griffin and carried on by his son Blake, who continues their passion for rare coins and collectible items. Centralia Coin & Stamp Inc. remains one of the only businesses of its kind of the Greater Centralia Area.

Bandy’s Pharmacy - Celebrating 50 Years

For 50 years the Bandy family – beginning with Steve Bandy and wife Pam and continued by son Eric - has served its communities as a trusted pharmacy. Bandy’s has grown its enterprise to five locations throughout the region.

WJBD Radio - Celebrating 70 Years

A continual sponsor of chamber-led events, WJBD has remained a trusted source of news media in our region for each of its 70 years. The business was purchased by owner, radio personality and longtime news reporter, Bruce Kropp in 2024.

Kaskaskia College - Celebrating 85 Years

Kaskaskia College is a cornerstone of higher education in the state of Illinois, as well as one of the most prolific business leaders in the Greater Centralia Area, KC is also a major sponsor of nearly every chamber event, and the host of the Chamber’s annual banquet and Regional Business Expo.

Centralia Business Professional Women - Celebrating 100 Years

Centralia BPW is a staple in the Greater Centralia Area. The century-old non-profit organization has continued to support our community by honoring our extraordinary citizens, offering scholarships, and sponsoring local events.

Byrd Watson is an irreplicable piece of the Centralia community, remaining one of its most beloved and historic businesses still in operation. Byrd Watson recently embarked on the new chapter late last year by opening a new location at 790 W. McCord St.
