Centralia BPW Awards Scholarships

Centralia BPW recently awarded scholarships to two local students.

BPW Foundation scholarship chair Tischa Daugherty introduced Katherine Zimmermann, daughter of Roger and Mia Zimmermann as the recipient of the of the graduating senior scholarship. Katherine is a graduate of Christ Our Rock High School and will be attending Murray State College with studies in the field of architecture.

She then introduced Aubri Thompson, daughter of Kevin and Maria Thompson.

Aubri is the recipient of the undergraduate scholarship and is attending Southern IL University Edwardsville majoring in Biological Sciences. Deacon Snow, son of April Snow and Jeremiah and Jessica Snow.

Deacon is a Centralia High School graduate and will be attending SIUE majoring in nursing. $1,000 was awarded to each recipient. The membership wishes to extend our best wishes in their future studies.

Centralia BPW continues to accept donations to the Centralia BPW Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) with all funds collected used for awarding scholarships and offering educational functions.
