Buchheit of Centralia is offering additional coverage for purchased items through the Protect Your Purchase Plan, which offers both repair and replacement services.

According to Andy Rynski, store manager at Centralia Buchheit, the new company-wide warranty will be offered in two or three-year terms and replaces any store-bought items purchased under $300.

Rynski explains that anything under $300 value is an automatic replacement if it breaks. Anything over $300 value is considered a repair with the work being done locally or at the Buchheit repair shop in Perryville, MO.

Speaking on the business itself, which celebrated 90 years in business last year, Rynski said the third-generation, family-owned farm and home store has plenty to offer in both departments.

“We have a variety of products for different types of customers; whether it be more farm-based or home-based,” said Rynski. “We have pet foods, clothing and apparel, boots, and all kinds of outdoor power equipment. We are a STIHL dealer, and we have been very successful in that area for a number of years.”

He continued, “Buchheit is still a family-owned business, which I truly love. I actually came from a competitor, and I love the family business atmosphere here. There’s nothing like it. It’s not lip service; they truly care about their customers.”

Rynski said Buchheit has grown considerably over the years, with over 20 locations across the Midwest, a trucking company with over 200 trucks, a full-service lumber yard in select locations, a cabinet factory, and metals factory.

“We have quite the footprint now,” said Rynski. “Buchheit is quite diversified, and that has allowed them to remain competitive in the marketplace.”
