Housed in Liberty Village, Centralia Estates is one of the premiere senior apartment complexes in the Greater Centralia Area.
For tenants aged 55 and over, Centralia Estates earned its reputation by offering numerous amenities and services, prioritizing health and wellness, offering next level rehabilitation, and always putting the tenant and their families first.
Centralia Estates features 39 elegantly furnished one-and-two-bedroom apartments in studio and efficiency layouts, each complete with a full kitchen and six foot-by-six-foot walk-in closets. The complex offers weekly housekeeping, trash removal, two buffet style meals per day, a continental breakfast option, respite apartments for families and potential tenants, a free fitness membership to AJ’s Fitness within Liberty Village, a fully stocked pond and patio outback, as well as therapy and rehabilitation services.
Speaking on the health and fitness aspect of the facility, Centralia Estates Manager, Jaime Radake said there is a skilled nursing department present to assist tenants through either their Bounce Back Rehabilitation Program or through their free fitness membership.
“The Bounce Back program is for our skilled nursing side, and it can handle anything from [rehabilitating] a broken wrist to a knee or hip replacement,” explained Radake. “The therapy department itself has all of the most high-tech equipment that you can get and they are fully staffed.”
“In that free fitness membership, someone from the therapy department will come over and interview the tenant and ask them what they want to work on,” Radake continued. “They will set up a schedule based on how many days a week they want to come over and work out. Someone will always be there with them while they’re there.”
Radake said Centralia Estates offers daily activities at the complex and hosts annual events for tenants and their families.
“We have five-to-six activities a day that our tenants can choose from,” she said. “We do several community outings, too. If one of our tenants tells us about an event they used to go to or would like to go to, we will make it a point to set something up.”
“Every year we do a big Christmas candlelit dinner for the tenants and all of their family, or whoever they invite,” Radake added. “We do tons of potlucks, because a lot of our tenants still cook. We do a couple of open houses each year, and we usually do a luau in the summer, which is a lot of fun.”
Yet despite the multitude of services and resources Centralia Estates provides its tenants, Radake insisted it’s the care and relationships of her staff that truly makes the experience one of a kind.
“The main thing that sets us apart is the compassion and care and servant heart of the people that work here,” said Radake. “It’s not just a place to live, it’s a family.”
