RACHEL WALLACE HONORED FOR YEARS OF SERVICE ON CHAMBER BOARD

Business owner, entrepreneur, and community investor, Rachel Wallace, was honored at Celebrate Progress - Chamber Annual Banquet for her years of service on the Chamber’s board of directors, of which she served as president in 2024.

Accepting the award, which was a surprise to Wallace, the prolific business leader said, “This was a surprise tonight, so I had no idea that anything like this was happening. But as usual, I love working with the board. That’s why I stayed on again. I will continue to work proudly for the city of Centralia and do everything that I can to make us that much better. Thank you.”

Earlier this year, Wallace was voted to remain on the board for a one-year placement to occupy a vacancy.

Wallace is the owner of the Best Western Plus Hotel, Subway restaurants, and Scooters Coffee. In addition to serving on the Chamber’s board of director, Wallace serves on the City of Centralia’s Tourism Commission.
