Celebrating freedom also creates opportunities to learn, reconnect, and recognize the people who shape a community. The Centralia Juneteenth Committee brings that purpose to its work organizing Centralia’s Juneteenth celebration.
The organization describes its focus through faith, freedom, and community, with an emphasis on fellowship and regional community development.
In a previous Chamber feature, the event was described as a homecoming celebration—an opportunity to honor the holiday’s significance while highlighting Centralia and encouraging people to gather.
For residents, former residents, and visitors, the celebration provides a connection to both national history and the local community. Businesses and individuals interested in supporting the effort can explore the committee’s information and donation options.
