Upcoming Attractions at Castle Ridge
With its attractive waterfront location and medieval-inspired appearance, Castle Ridge is one of Centralia’s most ambitious attractions, and it’s only going to get bigger from here.
Built on 18,000 square feet of land, the venue includes Stonewater Restaurant and III Rooftop Bar and Bistro, and hosts lavish, large-scale events like weddings, indoor and outdoor concerts, and corporate gatherings.
With its many features, Castle Ridge was conceived as a multi-phase project, with an ensemble of additional services and attractions still to come. This includes cottages and lodges, an amphitheater, a hotel, a kayaking run, and a marina.
“We are expecting to break ground on the cottages and lodges, as well as the amphitheater, in 2026,” said Greg Sutton, Director of Operations, who noted the new amphitheater will seat up to 5,000 people. “We will most likely have the hotel plan finalized by the end of 2027, and hopefully the hotel will be up and running in 2028.”
With considerable progress on the map, Sutton said that he hopes Castle Ridge’s new additions, plus the numerous investments being made within the community, will help transform Centralia into a regional hub.
“Centralia, by its name, is well-positioned to be a central hub of activity. Whether it’s the roadway or the rail system, Centralia can be a hub for the region, not just the four-county area.”
Furthermore, Sutton, a member of the City of Centralia Tourism Commission, said he is happy to be a part of the ongoing progress in Centralia, and commended those actively working to push the community forward.
“To see the community being invested in – whether it’s Crooked Creek Winery or new businesses like Colden Brewery or the other investments that are being made here – is great,” explained Sutton. “When you look at the individuals that have grown up in Centralia and are now coming back and investing in their community, or those like ourselves that are attracted into the community to invest, it’s really good to see.”
Castle Ridge was fully opened to the public in 2022, following a soft opening in 2021, just one year after construction on the project began.
