Inspire Progress - Chamber Recognizes Businesses
The Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce has the honor to host ribbon cutting events to celebrate a multitude of new businesses and the investors.
From new dining and entertainment establishments in Central City, to healthcare options in Sandoval and Odin, and the continual growth of the Centralia Commercial Historic District, there have been a lot of new businesses to celebrate this year.
As the chamber of commerce, we witness many stories and success of business owners, all with individual dreams, visions, and goals for the progress of the community.
For example, brothers Jesus Santiago and Omar Santiago started working in the restaurant industry and saw an opportunity to open their own businesses in Centralia. Now, they have two Tequila Mexican Restaurants, Taco Jo’s, and Dreamality Athletics - all in Centralia - and more restaurants in Mt. Vernon, McLeansboro, O’Fallon, Highland, and another one opening in Belle Rive.
Another great example is Christina Wright and her husband, Isaac Wright, III. They started a food truck business, Simply Soul, and expanded it into an elegant brick and mortar building. Keeping their full-time professional occupations, the Wrights have taken their culinary dream to the next level and we appreciate their investment in Centralia.
The chamber of commerce is fortunate enough to celebrate these stories, along with many others. They all deserve recognition for helping to make Centralia a better place, not just for today, but for generations to come.
For when we all shine a light on those who enhance our quality of life and change our culture for the better - we inspire progress.
