ODIN HEALTH & REHAB CENTER HOSTS GRAND OPENING AND RIBBON CUTTING FOR UPDATED PATIENT ROOMS

Odin Health & Rehab Center, in partnership with the Centralia Chamber of Commerce and Salem Chamber of Commerce, held a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Friday for newly renovated patient rooms in its facility.

The event was attended by chamber members as well as Odin Health & Rehab Center’s administration and staff.

Matt Bryan, Director of Business Development with Odin Health & Rehab Center, said the remodeling project was roughly a year in the making.

We have talked to the hospitals locally and said ‘What is something that we need to do locally [to help patients] that can be helpful. The one thing that they said was private rooms, private suites. Odin is a 99-bed facility. Utilizing one hallway, we took out some beds. We remodeled them and we made private suites. You don’t have to share a room with someone else. Your roommate could be snoring or something else. You don’t have to worry about those things.

Bryan said the private suites would be a perfect fit for patients that recently underwent surgery or who are actively undergoing rehab that don’t have caregivers at home.

Ribbon cuttings were held on the center’s grounds and in one of the new suites, and tours of the facility were given to those in attendance.
