CHAMBER HOSTS ECONOIMC DEVELOPMENT MEETING WITH CITY ADMIN AND COMMUNITY PARTERS

The Centralia Chamber of Commerce hosted a meeting Wednesday evening aimed at economic development in the community.

The meeting was attended by city administrators and several community partners.

Led by City Manager Galen Mahle and Economic Development Director Rob Jackson, the meeting covered a variety of subjects, including TIF Districts and other incentives, housing, building codes and ordinances, public transportation, childcare, economic development and attracting and supporting new business.

The discussion was open to everyone in attendance. Wednesday’s conversations led to other community issues which will be the focus of future meetings.
