CENTRALIA BALLOON FEST SOARS IN 35th YEAR

The 35th Annual Balloon Fest hosted a jam-packed weekend of family fun to the Greater Centralia area, with thousands from across the region traveling to Foundation Park to witness the spectacle.

Held Friday, Aug. 16 through Sunday, Aug. 18, the nationally renowned event featured 40 hot air balloons from across the country, including five special shapes; marquee live entertainment; over 100 regional vendors; the annual Car & Motorcycle Cruise-In and Cardboard Boat Races; and more!

Friday featured an opening ceremony courtesy of the Centralia High School Choir and Marching Band, followed by an All-Balloon Flight, tethered balloon rides and live entertainment from Taylor Made - A Taylor Swift Tribute.

Saturday continued the momentum with live music from rising Nashville artist, Kaylee Rose, followed by an All-Balloon Glow and headlining entertainment from country star and American Idol alum, Josh Gracin.

Sunday wrapped up the weekend in spectacular fashion with the annual Car and Motorcycle Cruise-In and the Cardboard Boat Races on Catfish Pond.

The Chamber would like to thank the Balloon Fest Steering Committee, along with the balloon and event sponsors for making this year’s event one to remember!
