STEERING COMMITTEE CONTINUES BALLON FEST PREPARATIONS
The 35th Centralia Balloon Fest Steering Committee met Tuesday, June 11 in the conference room of the Centralia Chamber of Commerce to discuss the upcoming event.
Led by Balloon Fest vice-chair, Galen Mahle, the meeting saw positive reports from each of the present sub-committees, as well as a walkthrough of event guidelines and protocol from chamber director, Marcus Holland.
The event currently has 63 craft vendors that have completed registration. There are currently 22 registered food vendors, up from last year’s total of 18. This year’s food area will also include a drinks-only line. 36 pilots are fully registered with sponsors.
The Centralia Balloon Fest will be held August 16, 17, and 18 in Foundation Park.
