COMMUNITY TITLE HOSTS RIBBON CUTTING
Community Title held its grand opening Wednesday, welcoming several business professinoals to its new location at 201 East 3rd Street.
Branch manager and closer, Erica Trone, said she and her new staff of three couldn’t have been more pleased with the response.
“The turnout today has been great. I was excited that so many people showed up,” said Trone, who will celebrate her 10th anniversary in the title business on Valentine’s Day. “Our biggest thing was making people like they were walking into someone’s home. That’s what we wanted.”
Trone said Community Title will offer a small-town, personalized feel to their business while utilizing the latest, most efficient technology and practices when assisting clients.
“We are just excited to give that small town, locally owned business feel, yet we still have the technology and offer amazing services. We really want people to know we are here for them, especially when it comes time to buy a home. We want people to have the easiest process doing closings and that everything goes the way it’s supposed to.”
Community Title assists with real estate closings, including the purchasing, selling, refinancing, developing, building, and investing of properties.
“We try to help people with where to go with their title needs,” Trone advised. “We work with lenders, realtors, and attorneys to make sure closings go well. I would say we are kind of the endgame for everyone when it comes to closings.”
Having begun taking business at the end of 2023, and with a rousing response to its ribbon cutting ceremony, Community Title is set to take the community by storm.
“We opened in December. That’s when we started doing closings,” Trone recalled. “It was a couple of weeks, and then we were open. It happened pretty quickly. We’re excited to get out there and get the business.”
With additional locations in Carlyle, Breese, Greenville, Alton, Litchfield, Shiloh and Staunton, Community Title is the largest independently owned title company in southern Illinois, assisting over 20 counties in Illinois and Missouri.
