Office Products Center/Mitchell Printing has been a trusted resource for all things shipped, shredded, stamped, laminated or advertised for over four decades.

Founded by David Mitchell, the business has earned its stripes both locally and nationally and continues to evolve its products and services with the times.

“We will drop ship with companies throughout the United States. We do a lot with the Army Corps of Engineers, from St. Louis and Alton to Carlyle Lake and Shelbyville” said manager Britt Eagan, who celebrates 25 years with the business in 2025. “It’s the same with Bayer. We deal with several divisions o that corporation throughout the U.S.”

“We do everything from commercial printing to party supplies,” Eagan continued. “A big part of our business is advertising specialties. We basically do anything you can think of that involves printing or office supply. You have to change with the times because the print industry has undergone such a dramatic change.”

Originally founded as a print business, Mitchell Printing would eventually expand into an office supplies center, housing locations in both Centralia and Salem. The two locations merged in 2019.

Currently operating with a staff of five including Eagan, the longtime manager said there are decades of industry experience between her and her team.

“We have many years of experience in printing, and we pride ourselves on the longevity of being here and having those familiar faces behind the counter,” Eagan said. “We really pride ourselves on that brand of customer service. We are a small business with a big heart.”

Despite its nationwide reach, Eagan insisted Office Products Center/Mitchell Printing will always be a community-centered business.

“We love Centralia. The people here are friendly, and I have always had a great relationship with town,” said Eagan, a Mt. Vernon native. “I love to promote Centralia, because it’s a wonderful community and we have so many great customers here.”

“There are still multiple people who come in that I have dealt with since day one. That’s what we love. Our ultimate goal is to not only be here throughout the years but to retain our customers and keep them happy. We love new faces too, and it’s always a thrill when someone new comes through our door.”
