Centralia will again hold its Annual Halloween Parade and Fall Festival in the historic downtown area. The Festival activities begin at 9:00 A.M.. It features a Craft Fair, Flea Market and Car Show. There are free children’s games and activities, chili cook-off, local entertainment and, of course, delicious food. At 10:30 a.m. judging of the Children's Costume contest will be held. Children of all ages can dress in their Halloween costumes and walk in the parade which begins at 11:00 a.m. The Main Parade will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will proceed down Poplar Street. Everyone is invited to enjoy the marching bands, floats and mechanized units as they travel South through town. Awards for the various categories of entrants will be held immediately after the parade at Carillon Park located under the Bell Tower. The excitement is contagious as the winners are announced and trophies are awarded. Please bring the whole family, have fun, and try the tantalizing food as we celebrate. We encourage everyone to attend to see if their favorite band and float won. Please join us for a day filled with fun and amazing food as we celebrate this event which has been ongoing for almost a century!
