Much like the candidate's forum during election years, the chamber of commerce will facilitate this conversation advocating for park improvements and with a structure that allows everyone to be informed and be able to ask questions.

Derek Sherman, Economic Development, will present what the plans are for city parks, what the situation is at Laura Leake Park, and what proposed improvements may be available.

This is a good opportunity to listen to the families in the neighborhood that use this park before a plan is fully developed. Once we have a better idea of the scope of the project, then we can look at funding sources.
