Greenview Golf Club catered by The Turn Restaurant
The CEO program (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) began in Illinois more than 10 years ago and is now in more than 50 communities. Through a partnership with 6 area high schools, the Centralia Chamber of Commerce, and the Salem Chamber of Commerce; the Little Egypt CEO Program will begin in Fall 2020 to help develop the next generation of local entrepreneurs.
Highlights of the Program:
This program allows students to start new, REAL businesses.
Graduates have a better understanding of business management and decision making, which helps them become more employable members of the workforce.
Creates networks of existing businesses and young entrepreneurs, which alleviates "brain drain" and keeps our local workforce healthy!
Presentation by Austin Brooks of the Midland Institute about the numerous benefits to the community and its students. He will share success stories from other CEO Programs.
