I want to let everyone know that Next Tuesday the Centralia Police department will be hosting it's fist ever COFFEE WITH A COP event at the Rail Coffee Room from 7:30 to 9:30 please come up and meet myself and some of the other Officers. For years I have heard people make the comment that they used to know all the Police Officers and now they don't, I want this to be a step in changing that as well as a chance for my Officers to interact with the community they serve. The idea of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. Taking time to meet at a neutral comfortable location provides the opportunity for real conversations about issues that matter.
